Refund & Guarantee Policy

We stand behind our courses. This policy explains our 100% court-acceptance guarantee, our 14-day refund window, the Pass Guarantee add-on, and our lowest-price guarantee — and how to make a request.

1. 100% Court-Acceptance Guarantee

If your court doesn't accept your certificate, you get your money back. If you complete a Courseable course and the court, probation department, or agency that ordered it refuses to accept your certificate, send us proof and we'll refund 100% of your course fee.

To qualify for a court-acceptance refund:

  • You completed the course and we issued your certificate;
  • You enrolled in the subject and number of hours your requirement called for (we ask you to confirm these with your court, probation officer, or attorney before enrolling — see our Disclaimer);
  • You submit written proof of non-acceptance — such as a letter, email, or court document identifying the reason — within 30 days of being notified that the certificate was not accepted; and
  • The non-acceptance is not due to inaccurate information you provided (for example, a name that doesn't match your court records) or to fraud or a Terms violation.

This guarantee covers our standard online courses. It does not apply where a requirement calls for a program we plainly do not offer (for example, a Batterer's Intervention Program or a clinical DUI/DWI assessment), or where your jurisdiction requires a specific licensed or approved provider and that was disclosed or reasonably ascertainable before you enrolled. 2. 14-day refund (changed your mind)

If you simply change your mind, you can request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, as long as you have not completed the course and no certificate has been issued. Once you complete a course and we issue your certificate, the course fee has been earned and is non-refundable (except under the court-acceptance guarantee above). To request a refund, email support@courseable.com from the address on your account.

3. Pass Guarantee (optional retake add-on)

The Pass Guarantee is an optional add-on you can choose at checkout. It gives you unlimited retakes of the course's final exam, so you can keep re-taking the test as many times as it takes to pass — guaranteeing you can reach a passing score and earn your certificate.

What the Pass Guarantee is — and isn't. It guarantees your ability to retake the final exam until you pass. It is not a money-back guarantee and does not entitle you to a refund. The Pass Guarantee add-on itself is non-refundable once purchased. Without it, retakes may require a separate retake fee.

4. Lowest-Price Guarantee

We aim to offer the best value for a court-accepted course. If you find an equivalent, currently-advertised court-accepted course (same subject and hours) at a lower price, contact us at support@courseable.com with a link or proof before or shortly after you purchase, and we'll work with you to match it. This guarantee is for comparable courses and excludes coupons, bundles, clearance, and limited-time promotions.

5. Ebooks, add-ons, upgrades & bundles

  • Ebooks and other digital downloads are delivered immediately and are generally non-refundable once accessed or downloaded.
  • Course-hour upgrades and bundles follow the same rules as the underlying course: refundable within 14 days if the relevant course is not yet completed.
  • The Pass Guarantee add-on is non-refundable once purchased (see Section 3).

6. Live (instructor-led) classes

For scheduled live or Zoom-based classes, you may request a full refund up until the first session begins, provided you have not attended. After a class has started, refunds are handled case-by-case; where available, we may offer a make-up session or transfer to a later cohort instead of a refund. Contact us as early as possible if your plans change.

7. How refunds are issued

Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days after approval (your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the credit). We'll confirm by email once a refund is processed.

8. Before you file a chargeback

If something went wrong with your order, please contact us first — we can almost always resolve it faster than a card dispute. Filing a chargeback for a course you've completed or for which a certificate was issued, or that falls outside this policy, may result in suspension of your account and revocation of the related certificate.
