I took the 8-hour course and I learnt a lot. The course content is very high quality. It's direct, to the point, and precise. It was also the cheapest 8-hour course I could find online that was court-approved. And best of all, my court accepted the certificate without any issues.

F

Frank

Course was concise, easy to follow and effective in transmitting the source material into practical knowledge. I highly recommend!!

M

I took this course for a court requirement, and I went into it with very low expectations. But to my surprise, I found this class to be actually very beneficial as it was packed with really effective strategies. I got my court requirement fulfilled and also improved myself. Thank you!

D

Derek

I thought this was a helpful course because it opened my eyes to things I 'thought I knew,' but never gave them the attention that they needed. I was able to take things from this course that I am confident I can apply to my life for immediate and long-term benefit.

Learned more than I expected. The anger management course was very thorough. And the online system they have is super easy to use too. I did everything on my phone and had the certificate in under a day. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an Anger class.

Was not sure I actually had an anger issue. But this course has opened my eyes and showed me that I do and it was affecting my relationship with my son. Now I have the skills to improve and save my relationship with my son.

It was a very easy course to follow and allows for you to seamlessly pick up where you leave off. The price is perfect as well!

Everything You Need to Know

Detailed answers about our anger management course

Will my court accept this certificate?

Yes, 100% guaranteed. Our courses are accepted by courts in all 50 states. If your court doesn't accept our certificate for any reason, we'll give you a full refund.

How long does the course take?

Most students complete their course in one sitting. You can also stop and resume anytime — your progress is automatically saved.

When do I get my certificate?

Immediately. As soon as you complete the course, your certificate is ready to download. You can print it or email it directly to your attorney or probation officer.

What will I learn in this anger management course?

Our curriculum is created by Tiffany Gorham, a licensed therapist who specializes in anger management, conflict resolution, and stress management. You'll learn:

  • How to identify your personal anger triggers and warning signs
  • De-escalation techniques to calm down in the moment
  • Healthy communication strategies for difficult conversations
  • Long-term emotional regulation and stress management skills
  • How anger affects your body, relationships, and decision-making

40% of our reviews mention "learned a lot" — even students who initially enrolled just to meet a court requirement report gaining practical skills.

Can I take this course on my phone or tablet?

Yes — our course works on any device. Over 50% of our students complete their course entirely on their phone.

You can switch between devices anytime. Start on your phone during lunch, continue on your laptop at home — your progress is automatically synced.

No app download required. The course runs in your web browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge) on iPhone, Android, iPad, tablets, and computers.

What if I fail a quiz? Can I retake it?

Each course includes one final test at the end. To help you prepare, there are practice questions after each lesson so you can check your understanding as you go.

98% of our students pass the final test on their first try. The questions are based directly on the course material, so if you've completed the lessons, you'll be well prepared.

If you'd like extra peace of mind, you can add Unlimited Retakes when purchasing your course — this lets you retake the final test as many times as needed at no extra cost.

What information is included on the certificate?

Your Certificate of Completion includes all the information courts typically require:

  • Your full legal name (as entered during enrollment)
  • Course title: Anger Management Course
  • Course hours: 4, 8, 12, or 16 hours (matching your enrollment)
  • Completion date
  • Unique certificate ID for verification
  • Provider information: Courseable contact details

The certificate is a professional PDF that you can print or email directly to your attorney, probation officer, or court clerk.

How do I know which course length I need?

Check your court order or ask your attorney. The required hours should be specified in your court documentation, plea agreement, or sentencing recommendation.

If you're unsure, here are some general guidelines:

  • 4 hours: Often required for minor incidents or first-time offenses
  • 8 hours: Common for misdemeanor charges and domestic disputes
  • 12 hours: Most popular — meets requirements for most state courts
  • 16 hours: Required for some felony cases or repeat offenses

When in doubt, choose more hours. A 12-hour certificate will satisfy a requirement for 4, 8, or 12 hours. Courts accept certificates for longer durations than required but not shorter.

Still unsure? Chat with our support team — we're happy to help.

Can I get proof of enrollment before completing the course?

Yes — we provide a Proof of Enrollment letter within 1 business day of your enrollment.

This official letter confirms that you've enrolled in the course and includes your name, enrollment date, course title, and expected completion timeline.

To request your Proof of Enrollment letter, simply contact our support team after enrolling. We'll email you the letter as a PDF that you can share with your attorney, court, or probation officer.

What's the difference between self-paced and weekly courses?

Both formats cover the same material and result in the same certificate. The difference is how quickly you can complete the course:

  • Self-Paced: Complete the entire course in one sitting or over multiple days — there's no waiting period. Most students finish in a day or two.
  • Weekly: Content unlocks one hour per week. A 12-week course takes 12 weeks minimum to complete. Only choose this if your court order specifically requires weekly sessions.

If your court order says "12-hour anger management course" without mentioning weekly sessions, the self-paced 12-hour course will fulfill the requirement. If your order requires weekly sessions, choose the Weekly option above.

Is this course a Batterer's Intervention Program (BIP)?

No, this is not a Batterer's Intervention Program (BIP). These are two different types of programs:

  • Anger Management Course (this course): Teaches general skills for managing anger, communication, and emotional regulation. Typically 4–16 hours.
  • Batterer's Intervention Program (BIP): A specialized program specifically for domestic violence cases, usually requiring 52 weeks of attendance.

If your court order specifically requires a "Batterer's Intervention Program," "BIP," or "52-week domestic violence program," this course will NOT satisfy that requirement.

Check your court paperwork carefully. If it says "anger management" without mentioning BIP or domestic violence intervention, our course will meet your needs.
