4, 8, 12, or 16 Hours? Choosing the Right Course Length

One of the most common questions we hear is simple: “How many hours do I actually need?”
Start with your court order
Your paperwork is the source of truth. Look for a line specifying the number of hours of education or counseling required. If it lists a number, match it exactly.
When the order doesn’t say
If your order is vague, ask your probation officer or the court clerk. Completing fewer hours than required can mean redoing the course, and extra hours usually aren’t necessary.
Our cumulative courses make it easy
Courseable’s courses are cumulative: the 8-hour course contains everything in the 4-hour course plus more, and so on up to 16 hours. Pick the length that matches your order and you’re covered.
