Almost certainly not — and we'd rather tell you before you pay. Montana law treats a Partner or Family Member Assault (PFMA) conviction differently from a general anger-management referral. Under MCA § 45-5-206(4), a PFMA offender must complete a court-approved counseling assessment focused on violence, controlling behavior, and dangerousness, then complete a minimum of 40 hours of counseling directed at the violent or controlling conduct — delivered by a licensed provider or a specialized domestic-violence intervention program. This class is not that program, and we don't want to sell it to you as one.
If your charge involved a partner or family member, or your order, your probation officer, or your court paperwork points to a PFMA-specific assessment or counseling requirement, an anger management class will not replace it — confirm the exact requirement with your court, probation officer, or attorney before you enroll anywhere. If your order simply says "anger management," this class is built for exactly that, and if you'd like a second pair of eyes on the wording first, contact our support team.
